How to Apply for IIST B.Tech Admission 2021?

Aspirants appearing for IIST 2021 Admission must know various detail regarding application form.

  • The application form will be available Online only.
  • For UG courses, aspirants can apply between the third week of May to the first week of June 2021.
  • Aspirants must follow various steps of the application process – Registration, Filling details in the application form, uploading of images and making the fee payment.
  • Applicants have to upload required documents (i.e photograph, signature and caste certificate (if required) in the specified format).
  • Candidates must take a print out of both, application form & fee receipt for further process of admission.

IIST 2021 Application Procedure

  1. Firstly, the candidates need to submit the Online Application Form through the official website.
  2. Also, there is no offline application.
  3. Then, the candidates have to submit all the asked details (personal, academic, communication), details of JEE Advanced Examination and other required details.
  4. Next, the applicants need to submit their recent photograph, signature, medical certificate (only for PWD category candidates) and caste certificate (if applicable).

IIST Admission 2021 Counselling

IIST Admission 20201 Counselling will begin for all the eligible aspirants. Aspirants who have applied for PG courses will be called for counselling based on the result of the interview whereas for UG course candidates will be invited based on the merit list. Age: The applicant should be less than 27 years old. In addition, for the candidates possessing two-year, full-time PG Engineering or Business Administration degree. Consequently, the upper age limit is 29 years.

HP PAT 2021 Results

The results will be announced by the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board. A merit list will be prepared based on the score in the exam. The details HPCET 2021 notifications can be summarised in the following points:

  • The application form of HPCET 2021 will be available online on the official website. The candidates are requested to fill up this application form online and they must also upload their photograph and signature. After filling up the application form, the candidates must send a scanned copy of the form after duly countersigned by their parents and it should be sent via email to the email address of HPTU. It is also advised to the candidates to retain a hard copy of their application forms for further references.
  • The fee for the entrance exam can be paid either by credit/debit card or through an e-challan that is generated during the online filling of the application form. The e-challan that is generated, the payment of which will only be made in the Punjab National Bank.
  • Candidates are advised to not use any references to the coaching Centre or Institute while filling up the application form. They must give the address and pin code of the valid residence only.
  • The entrance test will be offline (pen and paper) based consisting of the objective type (having multiple choice) questions.
  • The candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria to check if they are eligible for admission in a particular course before applying for the exam.

MHT CET 2021 Exam Pattern

MHT CET 2021 exam will consist of three papers.

  • There will be three papers. The languages in which the paper will be offered include English, Marathi, and Urdu.
  • And, Exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. All the questions will be of objective type.
  • Each paper will be of 100 marks.
  • While First paper will be of Physics and Chemistry.
  • And, the Second paper will be of Botany and Zoology. The third paper will be of Mathematics.
  • All questions are compulsory to answer.
  • Candidates willing to take admission in one of the coursed offered under the health and science department, have to appear for Paper-1 and Paper-2. Those who are willing to take admission under one of the courses offered by the engineering department are expected to appear for Paper-1 and Paper-3.
  • Appearing for both the paper is compulsory.
  • Answers are to be marked on a separate OMR sheet provided with the question paper.
  • Answers are to be marked by bubbling the OMR using a black ball pen.
  • There will be no negative marking in all the question paper.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for CUSAT CAT

If in case two or more candidates score the same marks then, the following tie-breaking criteria is followed for resolving the ties.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for B.Tech programmes and M.Sc Photonics

  • Firstly, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics marks are considered.
  • If there is still a tie, then, the student elder in age will be taken into consideration.
  • If the tie still persists, then the tie will be solved according to alphabetical order.

Tie-Breaking criteria for the rest of M.Sc programmes

  • The marks secured in Physics and Chemistry will be taken together.
  • If the tie is still then, the marks in Chemistry will be taken into consideration.
  • If the tie still persists, marks obtained in Physics will be considered.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for M.Tech programmes

  1. If there is a tie in GATE/DAT scores, then, the qualifying examination marks is taken into consideration.
  2. If the marks of the qualifying exam have not been published, then, the marks till VII semester are taken into consideration.
  3. If the tie still persists, date of birth and name (in alphabetical order) are considered.
